Before Dana married Marc and moved to Sublette, I made a Kansas calendar for Mary one year as a gift. I decided to include a picture of Sublette in honor of Marc and our southwest Kansas roots. This picture above was the best I could find at the time. When I showed it to Marc, he thought he recognized one of the cars on the street. As I remember, it belonged to someone who worked at the school. Funny. Small town advantages.
Dana's recent post about Sublette's Fall Festival included a very lively picture of main street full of cars and people. It was such a total contrast. It moved me to find the "before" picture. Pretty cool, Sublette, Kansas! Gotta love it.
