Valentine Dinner

Last week we ended up going to our Valentine's dinner a day early. Our good friend Caleb sells hearing aids for his dad's company. His dad gave away hearing aids to the owner of the restaurant we went to and in turn, the owner gave his dad free meals to their nice restaurant. Nice was an understatement.
It is called Castle Falls and used to be a house, structured after castles the builder saw while visiting Europe. The outdoor area is used a lot for weddings but the first two floors are now a German restaurant on Thursday-Saturday nights. I think it probably holds about 50 people max.
Here's a picture of the menu so you can see that it truly was a "treat" to get this meal for free! It was a 5-course meal. We enjoyed an appetizer of brats, cheese dip, fruits, veggies and hummus. Then onto a salad (Greek, house, or caprese) followed by soup (tomato basil or beer cheese). Then onto the main course. I got the salmon and everyone else got the steak. We all mentioned it was good but we didn't think it was worth that much!
And then here we are with our desserts - brownie sundae, bread pudding, cheesecake or chocolate mousse cake. Wow!!!!
It was a great, free meal!!!
