Cousin Carrie was in town

 Cousin Carrie visited Lois this weekend.  After she arrived late Saturday afternoon, Grandma, Brad, Kathryn, Dave and I had dinner with her at the Legends Granite City. As we left we saw a few hot air balloons from the Balloon Festival up there.  Carrie is doing great.  She loves her job - medical sales and it was so much fun hearing her talk about it.  It was great hearing about her husband Jason's job and their summer with the kids, Julia and Carson.  Awesome!!

We hosted a dinner on Monday eve. (The pictures will tell you who was in attendance.)

Carrie came bearing gifts for Elsy.  A necklace, a bracelet and a pink feather boa.  So much fun!!

What was Grams E saying to Elsy?  She was listening so intently.

Elsy dressed up in her tutu for the dinner. Her new jewelry completed her outfit perfectly.

It was a beautiful night.  Lots of great conversation, good food and laughter.
