Trip to San Diego

We went to San Diego, CA last week to visit our friends, Kim and Sandi Shoesmith. We left Friday morning and came back on Monday. It was a great time catching up with our long time friends. We met them before we had kids when Ladell and Kim both worked for Hallmark. They have kids the same ages as our kids so we have always had a lot in common. We enjoyed a lot of the sites in the area. We went hiking in the mountains, ate Mexican food and toured museums in Old Towne, attended a San Diego State football game, and spent an afternoon at the beach playing bocce ball. Kim and Sandi are very hospitable. It was a wonderful time! The weather was perfect. I feel so blessed to be able to travel.
