We planted this sunset maple tree in 2010 in hopes that *someday* it would shade our very hot front door. Marc has been great about giving it a super healthy pruning each year, which I think is the reason it's doing so well.
The trunk has been getting thicker. The other night, we noticed our little tree is big enough for a birds nest!
It has arrived!
