Carpet going in SLOWLY! By Cindy

We are getting new carpet in all the rooms upstairs. We are using the same guy that did Mary and Janet's. He only works 5 hours a day....so it looks like he will finish next Tuesday. He started on Wednesday. My room was done first. It does look good and Elsy thinks it was a great playground.

The first day he came in and set up his tools in the laundry room. I was so glad Charlotte was gone. She would have fired him. He set his tools down on the washer and hung his smoke smelling coat on the sink. He put the dirty clothes basket on the clean clothes! I cleaned everything before Charlotte got home.

We had thought we could put our stuff in there to be stored safely, we were wrong!!

We won't complain to him, because he is doing a great job. Charlotte even gave granola bars to the young men moving the furniture because he hadn't eaten breakfast!  

This is one way to get everything in our house sorted and cleaned!
