Street Resurfacing

It was a crisp, clear Saturday morning and we woke early to sounds of heavy machinery in front of our house. They were resurfacing our street! Cole and daddy quickly went out to the front porch to take in the show. 

The worker guys were great about waving to Cole as he waved to them. I have a theory that every grown man remembers what it's like to be a little boy and be mesmerized by big machines. And seeing Cole watch them they feel a sense of connection or a sense of pride that now THEY are the cool ones getting to operate the big machines while little boys look on in awe and wonder.
